Louisiana Veterans First Business Initiative

Louisiana Veterans First Business Initiative

| Jun 16, 2021 | Business Law |

As a Navy Veteran, and as a State Senator, I am honored to formally introduce you to the Louisiana Veterans First Business Initiative.  I established this program in 2019 when I passed legislation when I was a member of the House of Representatives.  This program showcases Louisiana businesses owned by veterans, Gold Star spouses and active military to everyone – customers and clients alike – who chooses to support our veterans.

Working with a veteran-owned business makes perfect sense.  Through military experience, the men and women who defend and protect our nation gain unrivaled skills, such as leadership, integrity, experience and tenacity that translate well into business ownership and management.  Those who do business with veterans are honoring your service and sacrifice and thanking you for all you’ve done to protect our nation and its values.

By registering with the Louisiana Veterans First Business Initiative, your business will be placed in a public database for potential clients and customers to see and evaluate.  From accounting to plumbing, and from legal services to hardware, the Louisiana Veterans First Business Initiative demonstrates how veterans support a variety of industries in all walks of life.  Please encourage other veterans, Gold Star spouses and active military you know to register their businesses by visiting LAVeteransFirst.org.
